October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Twin Peaks plainly has a vested interest in the cause. (Besides; the Major League Baseball playoffs run throughout October, and you know that up at the Peaks, we love a good playoff! ;D )
To do our part to raise awareness, we’ve designed these sweet “Save Second Base” T-shirts – one men’s, one women’s – that will be available at all Twin Peaks locations during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month! We’ll donate $2 from each shirt’s $12.95 price to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the Dallas-based parent charity of the incredibly successful Race for the Cure walk/run events.
In addition, we’re paying for the Twin Peaks Girls to stride with pride in their respective market’s Race for the Cure 5K Walk! Key dates include Houston, Texas on Oct. 1; Omaha, Neb. on Oct. 2; Albuquerque, N.M. on Oct. 9, Dallas, Texas on Oct. 15, Oklahoma City, Okla. on Oct. 15, and Austin, Texas on Nov. 13. Look for them!
Many of the Girls will be incorporating pink into their look at Twin Peaks, too, which we’re sure you’ll appreciate more than what the NFL did with its players’ look last year!
