Super Party Recap

On Sunday, February 5th the house was packed for our 2nd annual super party, where our guests snagged the hottest tickets in town!

We kicked it off with all-you-can-eat dishes our select super menu and tackled it down with premium select beverages. Every guest scored big with sweet swag, and the luckiest fans walked away from our squares game with prizes in tow. And let’s not forget the scenic views, shall we? Partygoers got to pre-select their seats for prime viewing of our enviable TV package!

Congrats to the New York Giants for their big win at XLVI! But be honest: with a view like this, does it really matter who wins?

There is a New Scenic View in the Sonoran Desert!

Twin Peaks North Scottsdale!

The doors kicked open on January 16, 2012 with hotter dishes than the blazin’ Arizona sun and 29-degree beer cold enough to ice over Camelback Mountain. What an exciting hike!

While entertaining the masses of the Barrett-Jackson car show and the PGA Phoenix Open, we gained 4 man-sized stars from Arizona Foot Hills Magazine and an masterful, intellectual review from food blogger. But you don’t need a fancy car or a great golf swing to hang out with us.

We can’t wait to get to know our new neighbors, and there’s no better way to do so than over some great eats and drinks. So GET ON UP HERE and check out the new view!

TPG’s Climbing the Peaks 4: Destinee Dison

Climbing the Peaks with great agility is our very own Destinee Dison, right out of Mesquite, Texas!

She’s hiked her way up from Twin Peaks Girl to Twin Peaks Marketing Coordinator, and all the while with her girl-next-door smile!

While rocking her plaid pride in Mesquite for 3½ years, Destinee also studied meticulously at the University of Texas at Dallas. All her hard work paid off when she graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor’s in Business and an emphasis in Marketing.

Destinee’s love for Twin Peaks and her newly acquired degree combined to win her a promotion to the Twin Peaks home office.

“I love being a part of such a rapidly growing concept! Working at Twin Peaks helped me to get through college and I never thought that I would have the opportunity to move up into this position. It not only fits my degree path, but is also with a company that I love. Not to mention my job is a blast!” says Destinee.

Congratulations Destinee on your promotion! We are so proud to have you representing Twin Peaks on a higher level.

TPGs Climbing the Peaks 3: Nicole DeGroot

WOW, did we get a deal! We gladly welcome Nicole DeGroot to her new position at Twin Peaks as Recruiter/Human Resources Assistant. She is not new to our concept, since she has worked as a Twin Peaks Girl (TPG) for a total of four and a half years. Nicole’s motto is “sharing is caring,” so she spent her time at two different locations; over two years at the Lewisville location and a little over two years after opening the Frisco location.

She is currently at Texas Woman’s University; she has one semester left and will graduate with a degree in General Studies with concentrations in Education, Family Studies, and Marketing. Although she is happy to be completing her schooling soon, she mentioned what she will be looking forward to most in the new role she has taken on is the learning process.

Nicole will miss being a TPG, she said “I’ll miss is the tight-knit family that we all became over the years as well as all of the wonderful ladies that I had the pleasure of working in the restaurant with; those relationships will remain close to my heart for a very long time.” However, Nicole knows that with this transition and her promotion she will still always have her tight-knit Twin Peaks family.

She is most excited that her new position is composed of two completely different jobs. Nicole has a very outgoing personality so she will be able to easily scout around for talented people to bring on as managers. While she is outgoing she also has a very organized and detailed side which is one reason why all her peaksters loved her! She will definitely provide great strengths for the human resources side and help our company continue to grow.

TPGs Climbing the Peaks 2: U’Tona Johnson

Attention, Attention: Read all about our new manager on deck! U’Tona Johnson or better known as UT, she is one of our Twin Peaks Girls (TPGs) who recently survived our strenuous manager training session and has landed at our flagship Addison restaurant.

She has become a great asset both as a manager and as an inspiration to other TPGs who might like to further their career in the industry. Her Twin Peaks plaid pride began over five years ago at the opening of our second restaurant in Mesquite, TX. If this “bossy” babe looks familiar to you from your local store then props to you for knowing your TPGs. UT has also worked at the Plano location as a TPG and as a manager in Frisco and now in Addison.

UT took on the challenge of also attending school, while working at Twin Peaks, to become a real estate agent. However, her love for the red and black plaid was the reason for not further pursuing that plan. Although UT is so enthusiastic for her promotion, she will miss strutting her stuff in the fun costumes during special events.

When UT was asked what her favorite thing about her new position she said, “I’m excited that I can coach and mentor TPG’s because I played their role for such a LONG time. I have found that this is very important to the girls.”
