Hot Concept

Take in the view at Twin Peaks Buckhead.

Equal parts mountain lodge, restaurant and sports
pub, Twin Peaks Buckhead—the newest addition to
Tower Place— is a dude-centric dream come true. Take
the welcoming committee: a group of beautiful, smiling
“lumber Jills” clad in khaki short-shorts and plaid crop
tops. Why no one thought of this concept before is
anyone’s guess.
The 12,700-square-foot space is the franchise’s
biggest location yet, with two bars, more than 100
TVs and an umbrella-dotted patio. Head upstairs
for a bright indoor space featuring a fire pit and a
180-degree view of the ’hood. Here’s where you’ll also
find the resto’s signature “man cave,” complete with
plush leather seating and an 80-inch HDTV.
Twin Peaks also boasts 32 beers on tap (including
two custom-made drafts by locally based Red Brick
Brewing Company), all served ice-cold at 29 degrees,
thanks to a patented $130,000 dispensary system.
Skeptical? Check the beer crystals forming at the head
of your mug. Now that’s refreshing.
As for the food, don’t let the low price tags fool
you—this is no subpar grub. From the king-sized chickenfried
steak to the sky-high pile of barbecue pulled-pork
nachos, each dish is prepared with fresh (not frozen)
ingredients and delivered with “presentation” in mind.
“If you’re a guy and you die and go to heaven,” says
GM Roger Gondek, “we want it to look like our front
door.” Knock knock. 3365 Piedmont Road, @twinpeaksatl
